Cannella Column: August 2016

Tuesday, August 23, 2016

Friends and neighbors,

The Legislature is back in Session this month after taking July to meet and mingle with constituents in their Districts.

As you see below, I had many opportunities to visit with residents, business groups, city and county leaders, all of whom give me a better perspective on how best to represent you.

Help keep your friends and neighbors informed about what’s going on in Sacramento and around the 12th Senate District by forwarding this email so they can sign up to receive my eNewsletters, as well. You can also follow me on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and updates.

Around the District

Green Business of the Year

Recently, I selected Label Technology as my Green Business of the Year and honored them at the Merced Chamber of Commerce for their contributions to the community and our environment. Through Label Technology’s workforce and environmental stewardship committee they make the environment a priority in every aspect of their business. From the ink and adhesives used, to the water consumed in and around the facility, not to mention all the recycling efforts.
